Noise pollution is an environmental issue of concern to citizens. Long-term exposure can lead to sleep disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and anxiety, making effective noise management crucial to citizen well-being. To address this, we collaborate with the government to deploy low-cost sound sensor networks, collecting real-time environmental sound data from various areas to achieve real-time monitoring and early warning. The system sets warning thresholds, automatically alerting when noise exceeds standards, prompting relevant authorities to intervene and effectively control noise at its source. Ultimately, this data is transformed into a visualized urban sound map, clearly indicating noise distribution, allowing citizens to query their living environment, choose quiet residential locations, and significantly improve living quality.
